Cocreating sustainability
At the beginning of the eighties, the Oerlemans family started the process of cutting intermediate layers for the meat processing and general food industry. Very soon, cutting these layers was not the only activity, but they also purchased wrapping and perforation machines to provide the industry with film on rolls, especially flower and flowpack film, since the demand for these products was high. Towards the end of the eighties, they decided to build a new factory, and in 1991 the new site was put into service at Nijverheidsweg 13 in Goor.
In 1999, Perfon B.V. is taken over by the OPACKGROUP. Since then we have invested heavily in a large machine pool. Due to the strong demand and growth, the premises on the Nijverheidsweg had become too small, and in 2017 plans were made to build new premises on the Entersestraat 16, where Perfon now has a well-organized factory, with ultra-modern machines, that ensure that Perfon is ready for the future and able to supply many customers and potential customers with appropriate flexible packaging.
